Our Project:
In the pursuit of technological efficiency, the implementation of real-time data collection is key. With this understanding, an electronics company, specializing in real-time data gathering technology, entrusted us with the design and development of their next-generation IoT hardware products.

Our Approach:
We opted for a design that was both efficient and practical. Our objective was a lightweight, compact enclosure to ensure the device remained streamlined, even when adding protective layers and attachments.

Our innovation was a silicon jacket providing waterproofing and ruggedizing properties, ensuring optimal performance in all weather conditions. To ensure user convenience, we designed a straightforward clip-on accessory for easy belt attachment, enabling hands-free operation.

Through negotiations with our molding partners, we were able to begin tooling for the enclosures with a modest 200 minimum order quantity - a challenge as tooling is typically reserved for larger orders.

The Challenge:
One notable challenge was the manufacturing of the customized enclosures. Ordinarily, new tooling processes are only initiated for large orders as the investment costs are substantial. Nevertheless, we persuaded our manufacturing partners to kick start the injection molding process for a smaller batch of 200 units, demonstrating our strong partnerships and dedication to the project.

The Outcome:
Feedback on the product was overwhelmingly positive, with no improvements or changes necessary post-launch, testifying to the effectiveness of our design and manufacturing approach.
